Difference between revisions 14 and 15

**Aurora Henderson** is a figure of the C9 universe, warden of the Klak Grove, and an aerokinetic variant. She came from the grove and the deep forest around it, and she guarded both.

 

She is tall and carries herself like a judge, and she is often half-obscured by whatever the air around her is doing. Her eyes burn yellow when she is looking properly.

 

## Before the House

 

In the years before the grove chapters she was an associate of [[life/john-lyall|John Lyall]] and a guardian to the household, when [[life/chryssander-randolf-lyall-helvig|Chryssander]] was a child and was called Mister Sandy. What she was protecting, the Lyall family or the klak resource itself, the record does not separate.

 

## Warden

 

Her senses run at their limit permanently. She reads the forest as a field of data and picks a broken twig, smoke, or an intent to harm out of it immediately.

 

Her judgement is binary and she does not spend long on it. A thing is a threat and is purged, or it is a guest and is protected. There is very little between the two.

 

## Departure

 

When the grove fell, a strong wind lifted all eight of them, and [[life/eon|Eon]], and set them down on the paved bridge at the eastern edge. The shield came up out of the ground behind them with a heavy thud and sealed[1].
