Strain 33A
Akio Nakayama is a 33A. The wings, the density, the bio-metallic biology — that is what 33A looks like.
33As carry enormous power quietly. They appear deceptively easy-going — almost clumsy, almost harmless. The power is real and the restraint is a choice, not a limitation. That is the defining characteristic: they could. They don't.
They have a philosophy of non-killing that costs them something every time they hold back. Holding back is harder than letting go.
What We Know
- Wings (bio-energy structures, retractable, can shift between flight and shielding)
- Extreme physical density — they sink in water, they don't float
- Hyper-metabolic — cooking is literally life support
- Akio is one. Marcus carries 33A DNA (half-lineage, inherited from Akio's bloodline via the Shield 33 event)
- Ray (Rimfeostas-Prime) is also associated with 33A — possibly the last of the original lineage
What We Don't Know Yet
The full origin of 33A. Akio himself may not fully know. The name comes from the system Shield 33 — which was annihilated in Year 317. Akio survived as an infant on a transport vessel just outside the blast.
Whether 33A is a species, a lineage, a classification, or something the E1s created — not yet defined.
