Torin Norgaard is a figure of the C9 universe and the eldest child of the Norgaard house. He is the son of Marcus Norgaard and Eevi Charlotte Helvig-Norgaard, and one of their eight children.
He works in rescue. He goes into buildings that are coming down, takes the falling beam, and carries people out. The record's summary of him is that he is the one who does the work nobody else can, and that he is steady about it.

Torin holds what hits him. Impact and blast go into him as stored kinetic energy and come back out as speed. He inherited his father's density together with his mother's capacity to hold a charge, and neither came with the difficulty the other children inherited alongside their gifts.
